Collection: Lokita Tequila

 Lokita is made from carefully selected ripe Agaves coming from a perfect diversity of terroirs balancing the mineral profile of southern clay soils and the delicate fruit and floral notes of the highlands of Jalisco. Agaves are selected by our Master distiller Armando Orozco, in terms of sugar content and desired profile. They can be until seven years old and are mainly harvested during dry season (from January to April) to let the Agave’s flavours flourish at their maximum potential. Our Agaves are slowly cooked in mampostery ovens 
to reinforce the intense expression of their notes. It is double distilled with a mix of copper pot stills and distillation columns to provide the perfect smoothness to your palate. Our master distiller, Armando Orozco, is at the head of the family distillery where our Lokita is made, in Jalisco, Mexico. With over 35 years of experience in the industry as an owner of agave fields and the distillery, Armando meticulously controls the quality of each step of the artisanal manufacturing process from the selection of agaves, to the cutting, distillation and maturation of Lokita tequila.
